5. Manufacturing Process Description
5.1 Core Forming Process
The lampshade is formed using CNC-controlled multi-pass metal spinning, ensuring seamless, axisymmetric geometry without welding.
Typical Process Parameters:
- Aluminum / Stainless steel spindle speed: 500–900 rpm
- Copper spindle speed: 600–1000 rpm
- Single-pass deformation: controlled to maintain wall thickness uniformity
5.2 Raw Material Preparation
Material-specific degreasing and surface preparation are applied prior to spinning.
Sheets are leveled to achieve flatness ≤0.2 mm/m to ensure consistent forming behavior.
5.3 CNC Process Control
- 3D modeling performed using UG (Unigraphics) CAD software
- Tool paths generated via CAM and executed under closed-loop CNC control
- Critical interfaces and mounting edges are finish-machined, achieving perpendicularity ≤0.1 mm/m
5.4 Post-Processing
Deburring → compressed air cleaning → coating or plating → polishing → dimensional and surface re-inspection.
6. Quality Assurance & Inspection
6.1 Quality System
Manufacturing and inspection are conducted under ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
6.2 Incoming Material Inspection
- Chemical composition verified by spectrometric analysis
- Mechanical properties tested per material standard
- Ultrasonic testing (UT) to confirm absence of internal defects
6.3 In-Process Quality Control
Seven critical inspection points, including:
- Spinning conformity (contact ratio ≥98%)
- Wall thickness and dimensional inspection
- Surface pre-treatment verification
- Coating thickness and adhesion testing
- Reflectivity testing
- Edge condition and chamfer inspection

6.4 Final Inspection
Sampling inspection in accordance with GB/T 2828.1-2012 (AQL 2.5).
