II. Manufacturing Process

1. Primary Forming Method

  • Plate rolling + TIG welding, followed by CNC finishing.

  • Welding parameters: GTAW/TIG welding, current 80–120 A, speed 5–8 mm/s, shielding gas: 99.99% pure Argon.
  • Achieves uniform 5 mm wall thickness with weld penetration ≥3 mm.

2. Raw Material Pre-Treatment

  • Alkali cleaning (55–65°C, 6–10% NaOH, 12–18 min)
  • Acid pickling/passivation (15–20% HNO₃, 20–30 min)
  • Neutral water rinse and flattening using leveling machine (flatness ≤0.25 mm/m)
  • Ensures oil-free, defect-free, oxidation-free material for precise forming.

3. CNC Machining Control

  • CNC vertical machining center for port finishing.
  • G-code controlled, real-time monitoring at 8 samples/s.
  • Dimensional accuracy: Ø380 mm ±0.5 mm, H490 mm ±0.3 mm.

4. Post-Processing

  • Mechanical deburring (2800 r/min, 1000# grit)
  • Compressed air cleaning, dimensional re-inspection, weld inspection.
